Keep your enemies close, right? Well, apparently living together is too close for Rachel and Santana.

While Rachel (Lea Michele) focused on perfecting her role as Fanny Price in “Funny Girl,” Santana (Naya Rivera) got sick of sliding into the background — so in normal Santana-fashion, she was ready to steal some thunder. And let’s be honest, we were wondering when they would start feuding again — this whole BFF thing was getting boring!

Rachel V. Santana: Whose The ‘Funny Girl?’

New York is a concrete jungle, that‘s for sure.

We knew this whole act of roommates and besties between Santana and Rachel couldn’t last forever. Since Santana felt not-so-chummy about her NYC life, she decided to try out for the role of Rachel’s understudy in ”Funny Girl.” Since she’s amazing, and totally nailed “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” it wasn’t a shock that Rachel felt those old feelings of high school rear their ugly head.

Take Our Poll

After finding out about the audition, the ex-BFFs headed back to their NYC aparatment, you know the one that Santana invited herself to live in with Rachel and Kurt (Chris Colfer) and got in a full out girl brawl.

The original ”Funny Girl” was anything but when Rachel pulled a Nina Dobrev in The Roomate and told them they were never friends. (It was actually an impressive night for Rachel’s lines. She also made a killer Showgirls reference: “You will never play this part. I know you plan on getting all Showgirls crazy on me and pushing me down the stairs and poisoning my oatmeal, but you’re gonna have to kill me first. And even then, I will come back from the dead and I will play this part just to spite you!”)

It may have been the first time ever that Santana didn’t have the meaner lines. She told Rachel she was “short” and “awful.” So, like any girl would, Rachel slapped her — hard.

Kurt’s Faced With A Tough Decision

While his roommates were being not-so-funny girls, Kurt was facing his own troubles.

Blaine (Darren Criss) thought it’d be a good idea for his fiancé to get to know Starchild (Adam Lambert) a little better that way he would be less stressed thinking he had some evil plan. Kurt wasn’t crazy about the idea of spending more time with Starchild but did want to prevent him from taking over Pamela Lansbury, so he took the advice.

Much to Kurt’s relief, Starchild was not trying to take over the band at all, and let Kurt know that he had nothing to worry about — he also added he was happy they had met. You didn’t have to be a matchmaker to know that wasn’t going to be a good idea. After singing “I Believe In A Thing Called Love,” it was all downhill.

No, Kurt didn’t have to choose between Starchild and Blaine. Trust me, I will not stand by that happening. However, he came back to his apartment to Rachel saying he had to chose who to evict — her or Santana. He didn’t say anything, so she hugs him of course (I mean, they’re the Jack and Jen of Glee), and rips up a high school pic of her and Santana. Yes, I was wondering when exactly in high school it was that they were friends and where I was.

Well, that’s that! What did you think of this week’s Glee? Will Rachel move back in? Will Santana move out? Let me know what you think, HollywoodLifers?
