RENTON, Wash. — Seattle receiver Golden Tate was asked how he would describe receiver Percy Harvin in a few words:
“Fast as beeeeep,’’ Tate said. “The guy is so quick and so explosive. When he just lets it fly, I honestly don’t think there is one guy who can stay with him. He will run right by you.”
Tate said he expects Harvin to play on Saturday against the Saints.
“Obviously, it will be up to the coaches and Percy, but he looks great out there in practice,” Tate said. ‘And if he plays, it opens up things for all of us.”
Cornerback Richard Sherman was asked what it’s like to try to cover Harvin.
“It’s fast,” Sherman said. “If he gets a step on you, you’re not coming back.”
