Now that she’s moving on from “The View,” Jenny McCarthy isn’t holding back.
The 41-year-old made her SiriusXM debut Wednesday with her limited-run series, “Dirty Sexy Funny,” and the comedian unleashed her trademark ribald humor to discuss topics related to sex and dating.
McCarthy’s inaugural topic was to discuss a theory that had “been on her mind for years … 20 years as a matter of fact.”
She told a story about an ex-boyfriend who had told her that an “American Idol” contestant was her type.
“Does something like this make a guy gay, if a guy has a type?” she asked her celebrity guest Perez Hilton as well as her co-hosts, comedian Justine Marino and her sister Joanne McCarthy.
During the chat, she also made sure to tell her listeners that “I do not think my fiancé (Donnie Wahlberg) is gay.”
When fellow Sirius radio host Howard Stern called in to congratulate McCarthy on her new show, she asked his opinion.
“Do you agree with what we’re saying … that everyone’s a little bit gay?” she asked.
“No, I don’t agree with that,” Stern said. “That’s the topic today? You want to get instant ratings, start talking about the years with (ex-boyfriend) Jim Carrey,” he said, getting laughs from McCarthy and her co-hosts.
McCarthy pressed on with her theory, telling the King of All Media that “this has been a conspiracy among women that we feel like men are not being truthful. And if a d— is going into our mouths or vaginas, we want it to be honest d—.”
“Boy oh boy,” Stern said. “If you had spoken like this on ‘The View,’ you wouldn’t have gotten fired.”
